Why everybody in China is rushing to learn English?

I can only say it is crazy for so many Chinese to rush to learn English when a lot of them will never have a chance to use it or even meet a foreigner.

Surely I know the psychology and the reality which put them on the long journey for the learning of English.

I can't control myself but give a salute to these struggling English learners having taught some of them myself and will continue to teach many more in the years to come.
